Combolands Buildings Hub: 120+ Building Reference
Use this evidence-first building hub to track Combolands' official 120+ building claim without inventing effects, recipes, locations, or hidden requirements.
A hub, not a padded database
The official store advertises 120+ buildings and describes seven guilds with unique buildings and playstyles. That establishes the scale and the role of buildings in a run, but it does not publish a complete catalogue of names, effects, costs, recipes, locations, or unlock requirements.
The developer’s v1.0.4 post also says players have asked for a compendium and that the team plans to get to it. That is important context: a missing official compendium is a source gap, not an invitation to manufacture one from screenshots or guesses. This page therefore acts as the index for verified additions rather than creating 120 thin pages.
What the current sources let us say
| Source signal | Safe conclusion | Unsafe leap |
|---|---|---|
| Official store: 120+ buildings | The game has a large building pool | Every building name or effect is publicly documented |
| Official store: unique guild buildings | Guild choice affects the building pool or identity | One guild is always strongest |
| v1.0.4: neutral buildings | “Neutral buildings” is a current patch-note term | Their full acquisition or scoring rule |
| v1.0.4: duplicate blueprints | Blueprints are a current patch-note term | A complete blueprint catalogue or charge economy |
| v1.0.4: Sawmill, Manufacturer, Stockpile, Plateau | These interaction names matter for patch tracking | A universal formula for their interaction |
This distinction makes the hub useful now while leaving room for a proper compendium later.
The minimum record for a future entry
Every building note should include:
- the exact in-game name and a readable screenshot;
- the installed game version or patch where it was checked;
- the visible description and the action that produced the result;
- the board state, guild pair, and relevant item context;
- the source type: official note, player report, or direct observation;
- the conditions needed to reproduce the claim;
- a short uncertainty note when the result is only a report.
For example, “Sawmill triggers Manufacturer in v1.0.4” can be cited to the official patch note. “Sawmill always needs building X two tiles away” needs a separate current source or repeatable test and should not be smuggled into the same entry.
How to use this page while playing
When a new building appears, save the name and visible text first. Add a screenshot that shows enough of the island to identify the placement context. If the building produces an unexpected score or chain, move the observation to the trigger mechanics worksheet rather than putting an untested effect in this hub.
When a patch changes a building interaction, check updates, record the old and new version, and re-test only the affected relationship. A patch note can establish that an interaction was fixed; it may not explain every edge case.
Current answer
There is no complete building list published in this first edition. The page preserves the official 120+ count, the guild-specific context, and the current compendium gap while avoiding unsupported recipes, drop tables, and hidden requirements.
